About us

ArcadePathReview is a small editorial site about browser arcade games — the kind that load in a tab, need no installer and are over in a few minutes. There are thousands of them and most listings simply dump links. We would rather write about six games properly.

How we test

Each game gets at least twenty rounds spread over several days, on a mid-range laptop, in four different browsers. We note load times, input lag, how busy servers behave at peak hours and whether the game asks for anything before it lets you play.

What the rating covers

• Time from opening the page to being in a round.
• Stability and frame rate when the arena is full.
• Whether players who spend nothing can still compete.
• Whether we wanted to come back a week later.

Independence

Nobody pays for a place in the catalogue or for a higher score. If that ever changes, it will be stated at the top of the page in question, not buried in a footer.

We are not a game host

We do not run, stream or embed any game. Every button opens the developer's official page in a new tab. What happens there is governed by their rules, not ours.

Corrections

Games get patched and sometimes shut down entirely. If an entry here is out of date, tell us through the contact form and we will fix the page.
